Increase in Coniveo stock - Workstep Regular540 carpet tiles and Modulyss carpet tiles available from stock

The factors driving the growth of the modular flooring market in construction industry investments, coupled with an increase in renovations and remodelling significantly influenced our decision to increase Coniveo's inventory. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic undoubtedly affected the construction industry, which also had an impact on the modular flooring market. Delays and hold-ups due to supply chain disruptions and labour and material shortages were felt in every industry. In addition, ever-increasing inflation and the situation caused by the war in Ukraine have also had an impact on the economy, so in order to meet market demand and the need to respond to difficulties with availability and longer order times, we have decided to increase our stock levels.

Time is money

The unblocking of the market after the lockdowns has outlined to us the importance of having an off-the-shelf product in stock in today's world. The uncertain geopolitical situation and the pandemic factor have made it important today to have a product available off-the-shelf. We live in a time where time is money, thus not every investment can wait for a long time.

Increased 'off-the-shelf' product range

Successively from mid-2021 onwards, we decided to increase our stock regularly with new colours of Workstep Regular540 carpet tiles, carpet tiles with acoustic undersides (Workstep Regular540 Acoustic) and carpet tiles with different patterns and textures (a range of Modulyss carpet tile collections). While as recently as the beginning of 2020 our stock for carpet tiles was around 5,000 m2, today this has increased to around 15,000 m2. For example, we can see that the Workstep Regular 540 collection alone already enjoys a reputation and trust with customers who regularly return to us for this very product. And whereas just a few years ago, Workstep Regular540 products were stocked at an average of around 1,000 m2 , today this figure is already 3,000 m2 , and this stock is constantly being replenished. In addition, we ensure the constant availability of materials for floor preparation and installation chemistry - i.e. 'Velcro' glue, screeds, primers.

Actually, this is our flagship product. Customers trust it due to the fact that it is affordable and is a very good and durable floor covering. The Workstep Regular540 collection is a tile carpet dedicated to the design of office spaces as well as other areas. The key are the technical parameters, which confirm the possibility of installation in the most demanding areas (with high traffic), such as corridors or workstations. We are seeing increasing interest in this product among renovation and construction companies, installation companies, offices, offices and institutions, as well as architects and end users.

As previously mentioned, we have decided to expand our off-the-shelf stock offer with products from the renowned manufacturer Modulyss. The collections we have opted for include both designer and classic, muted patterns. All products are suitable for use in commercial areas such as offices, open spaces, hotels, etc.

As a distributor of carpets for offices, we do not consider this to be a long-term capital freeze. In addition to the aspects outlined earlier, we also observe that investors and end users are becoming more and more convinced of tile carpets due to their technology, technical parameters, durability, comfort, ease of maintenance, uncomplicated installation and hassle-free logistics. In addition, due to their format (the standard size is 50x50), they offer many interior design possibilities, so that unique and original designs can be created.
