Refurbishment of the Coniveo office

Everything around is changing, so it's time for a change here too. In July this year, we completed the long-awaited refurbishment of the Coniveo office.

Until now, Coniveo's office at 7 Białostocka Street housed the showroom, reception area and space where we worked. The company broadened its horizons, its offers changed, the Home & Living project appeared... At that time, we pointed out the lack of space where we could provide assistance in the selection of carpets dedicated to non-commercial interiors. Functional needs had also changed, so we decided to undertake a major revolution....

However, let's start from the beginning...

Regular customers and suppliers will certainly be familiar with our former office. Right from the entrance, the staff area was immediately visible. We decided to change this. We divided the main room into two zones. The first half, is the section dedicated to individual customers. In this part, on the shelves and on the floor itself, we can find unique carpets, dedicated to private interiors. They are characterised by different parameters than commercial carpets, which is why we separated these two segments into separate rooms. On the floor, we can find velour coverings from Lano's SmartStrand collection - Euphoria and Beauty.

Both we and the architect wanted to make this corner as cosy as possible. As a result, you can feel as comfortable here as if you were at home. There is soft carpeting underfoot and comfortable armchairs for sitting at home. This is topped off with warm light that falls majestically on the coffee table. This area also has its fans among our employees.

There is a "yellow gate" between the customer area and the staff area. Everyone intuitively guesses that there is already "another world" there :-) This is where WE are.

The base carpet, which endures thousands of steps every day, is Forbo Flotex. We wanted the floor covering to be extremely functional. As well as being aesthetically pleasing, it had to be slip-resistant, easy to clean and healthy for us, which means it had to be anti-allergenic. The choice was clear - Flotex. This is a carpet whose smooth nylon fibres perfectly absorb airborne allergens. Once captured, they do not rise up again and are only released during simple vacuuming. In addition, Flotex has a Sanitized microbiological protection system in its backing, which creates an effective barrier against the growth of bacteria and fungi.

In the office area, we opted for a classic but extremely nice solution, with the traffic paths marked out in a grey shade and the work areas in a sand colour. The same solution was also used in the rest of the building.

Let us now move to the CEO's office. Into the hitherto dark office, we decided to let some light in. We replaced the dark, linear carpet with Tessera Cloudscape carpet tile, which is light in its form. Its pattern was taken from nature. The collection is inspired by the shapes of clouds, which are constantly changing their form. In addition, we opted for a light colour scheme in the furnishings of the study, while the 'sterility' of the colours was enlivened with a 3D wall in a green shade.

At the outset, we mentioned the fact that the premises in which we were staying did not fully meet our functional requirements. Unfortunately, we lacked a strictly social room with a water supply. After installing the appropriate pumps and connecting to the water and sewage network, we managed to get this room. The architect also advised us to demolish the opening for a new door, which improved this functionality even further. Here, the floor was covered with a carpet in an intense, juicy yellow colour. Functional considerations were very important to us, as this is where we prepare meals, so it had to be an easily washable carpet. This is why we chose a carpet from Forbo's Sarlon collection for our floor.

The same carpet was used in the toilet, because the floor also had to be easily washable. Here, we wanted to achieve a minimalist and simple effect, but with vibrant monocolours.

The next room is the small conference room, where our most important deliberations take place. This is also where we happen to serve clients, so the interior has to be versatile. We wanted the pattern on the floor to refer to our showroom. Thus, the circles, semicircles and rings characteristic of our main showroom can be seen on the floor. Flotex is, of course, the base, and the patterns consist of Tessera Teviot carpet tiles (whose colours match those of the walls and furniture in our new office) and the previously mentioned Tessera Cloudscape carpet tiles.

When deciding on the aforementioned carpets, we wanted above all for it to be a choice that we could confidently recommend to our customers. We used products in whose qualities we firmly believe and in full knowledge recommend to future customers. We wanted to be able to offer customers something that we use ourselves.

At this point, we would like to thank the manufacturer Forbo Flooring Poland for participating in our renovation. We are your business card and the level of employee satisfaction = 100%.

And you can see how things have changed at our place and what the renovation looked like in the video below.
