Coniveo helps Helenka Grab

Meet Helenka Grab.

Helenka was born in September 2017 with biliary arthrosis (overgrowth), which prevented her liver from functioning properly. The hope for a cure was a Kasai procedure, but this did not result in improved health. In July 2018, the girl underwent a liver transplant. Helenka is a brave, cheerful girl, but now, after the operation, it is more important for her to take expensive immunosuppressive drugs and frequent medical checks in Warsaw, where the transplantation took place.

Helenka is a ward of the LIVER Association for Sick Children.

We are glad that we could at least help Helenka in her fight for health :-)
