Training in the installation of Nordpfeil hotel carpets

On 28 September, a technical training session on the installation of carpets for hotel facilities took place at Coniveo's warehouse. Specialists from the German Nordpfeil factory shared their knowledge and experience with employees from the sales and technical departments at Coniveo.

The factory's representatives - Ruediger Goossens and Peter Michalski - presented the most difficult method of carpet installation, i.e. glueless installation with the use of stretching, thanks to which the carpet adheres perfectly to the substrate and does not wrinkle. This installation consists of stretching the carpet over special strips called grippers fitted along the walls of the room. Between the slats there is a special underlay to level the subfloor. The individual pieces of carpet are hot-bonded together using thermoplastic tape.
