Carpets for companies and institutions. Application part 1/3 - Loop pile carpets

The most commonly used type of carpet is loop pile. Looped - i.e. the top layer of the carpet consists of densely woven fabric fibres forming closed loops. This is the classic finish for office carpets. Is it a good choice?

These carpets, due to their popularity, are available in the widest range of types and designs. From the simplest
(cheapest) to products for very demanding clients looking for something prestigious.

This type of floor covering can be used in virtually any office (they are of course available in rolls and tiles).  Loop pile coverings in tiles (modules usually 50cmx50 cm or 61 cmx61 cm) are strong enough to be used even in traffic areas. However, experience and observations of the behaviour of these carpets over their lifetime have shown that they need to be heavier than 550g/m2 to perform well.  Therefore, when choosing a particular floor covering for a particular room, it is worth relying on the experience and knowledge of a person who is familiar with these products, not only from theoretical knowledge, but also from practical experience. It is easy to use a product that does not meet your expectations by relying only on technical sheets.

One of the advantages of loop pile flooring is its accessibility, as it is a frequently sold product and is usually available from stock. Therefore, when we need a reasonably priced product that we do not have to wait for, this is the product for us.
