A carpet knife and measuring tape are not enough.

Quite recently at Coniveo, we did a small calculation of the cost of the tools needed by a two-person installation team. We ourselves were impressed that the amount exceeded PLN 45,000 and included dozens of different tools, e.g. a special machine for sanding the floor, a suitable hoover for collecting dust or a set of professional cutting tools.

Of course, if we want to lay a few square metres of carpet at home ourselves and we do not care about aesthetics and durability, a tape measure and a knife will suffice.
In public facilities this is not acceptable. For a high-quality full-service carpet and PVC installation, including subfloor preparation, you need a number of specialised tools.

A knife and measuring tape is a cliché that needs to be forgotten as soon as possible.
